Returns and Exchanges
Understanding, Responsive and Fair.
These three values are of utmost importance to us at Joshua and Jane. So if your piece isn’t quite right, we will work with you to resolve the problem.
Delay
If you have pre-ordered one of our Joshua and Jane pieces or ordered a custom-made design, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for delay with the delivery of your piece. This includes refunds/ exchanges of full payment or part-payments/ instalments of your order.
Unfortunately due to the global shipping crisis which is particularly affecting shipping from India, we are encountering significant delays on our pre-order and custom order pieces. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for delay as unfortunately the delay is completely out of our control. We are committed to transparency with our customers about how our expected wait-times of approximately 12-14 weeks are only a guide. We are also committed to keeping our customers as informed as possible about any delay we may be encountering with the order.
Change of mind
We will happily offer a credit note or exchange for a bone or pearl inlay Joshua and Jane piece returned within 14 days of purchase, given that the piece is in the same condition in which it was purchased and/or the original packaging.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for full or part payment for change of mind on any purchase.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind on any custom made/ bespoke items or gift vouchers. This includes if there is a variation in the item which you have ordered. Please note that there is a natural amount of variation that comes with handmade items which is to be expected in bone inlay furniture. The colour, finish and design can vary slightly piece to piece, so bear this in mind when placing a pre-order or custom order with us.
Credit Note
Joshua and Jane credit notes are able to be used on our online store. Please contact us if you are having any issues with using your credit note on our website.
Exchange
As above, please note that we do not offer exchanges for change of mind on custom made/ bespoke items.
To initiate an exchange, please contact the Joshua and Jane team on 0401 869 990 or hello@joshuaandjane.com.au within 14 days of receiving your item.
After discussing the details of your exchange with the Joshua and Jane team, you will need to return your Joshua and Jane piece to us by coordinating a time with our delivery men or by return fragile postage. Once the item arrives safely and is confirmed to be in the same condition in which you purchased it and/or in the original packaging, we can commence the exchange process.
Damaged Goods
Premium quality craftsmanship is of utmost important to us. Each Joshua and Jane bone inlay and pearl inlay piece is carefully inspected for faults and imperfections before sale. If a Joshua and Jane piece is deemed faulty, we will offer a refund, replacement or a credit note.
To initiate a refund, please contact us on 0401 869 990 or hello@joshuaandjane.com.au within 48 hours of purchasing or delivery of your item. Please include images and details of the damaged item in your correspondence with us.
Whilst working with you, the Joshua and Jane team will assess the faulty or damaged piece and organise for a mutually suitable course of action. This may be a refund, replacement or partial credit. We are dedicated to reaching a fair outcome which you are happy with.
Warranty
We are passionate about quality control and attention to detail.
All Joshua and Jane products are covered by a 12-month warranty.
